After a shoulder injury I found it impossible to cock the crossbow with the pulley cocker. This cocking mechanism is simple to add to an existing crossbow and is out of the way when folded. The bow-string pulling cradle is made out of steel, welded and Rilsan coated. After some experimentation the best way to secure the UHMW cables was a simple double knot at the ends.
