This very thin slewing ring is designed for LEGO Technic using steel balls and a plastic prototype part. All holes follow an 8 mm pitch in LEGO format. The steel balls used have a diameter of 3.45 mm. The gear teeth have a module of 1 (slightly enlarged to reduce mechanical play for better control) and their pitch diameter is compatible with LEGO 8-tooth and 24-tooth gears. This model is sufficiently sturdy and perfect for cranes with pneumatic pistons or electric cylinders. I tested it (model printed in ABS) with a payload of 5 kg! The SolidWorks model has two configurations for obtaining the upper or lower part of the slewing ring.
