This project presents a solar electric boat designed for operation in environmentally sensitive lagoon environments. The boat was initially developed as an academic project and later refined independently. A first prototype was successfully built, launched, and tested in real lagoon conditions. Main objectives of the design: Reduce water pollution by eliminating fuel-based propulsion Minimize noise pollution to protect fish and migratory birds Provide a cost-effective solution for eco-tourism activities The design features a lightweight hull optimized for calm waters and an elevated solar canopy that supplies renewable energy while also providing shade for passengers. This upload represents the latest iteration of the design and is shared for educational and sustainability-focused engineering purposes.
