Built this simple spur gear assembly as part of a gear design assignment. The model features a 24-tooth pinion and a 48-tooth gear, giving a 1:2 gear ratio and smooth rotational motion. Dimensions: Pinion: 24 Teeth, Pitch Circle Radius = 40 mm Gear: 48 Teeth, Pitch Circle Radius = 80 mm Center Distance = 120 mm Gear Ratio = 1:2 A gear mate was applied to ensure proper meshing between the gears and accurate motion transfer. Also included a motion study to demonstrate the rotational relationship of the gear pair. Useful for learning gear mechanisms, kinematics, motion simulation, CAD practice, and mechanical design projects. Simple model, but a good reference for students working on gear assemblies and motion analysis.
