SolidWorks 3D model of Spur Gear that can be converted into a Helical Gear, with changeable Variables/Parameters. The difference between models 1 and 2 lies in the drawing process of the teeth on the gear. in model 1 uses arc length while in model 2 uses gear tooth properties and the relation function in Solidwors. For more details please watch the source videos To open the "Equation" file, please change the file extension from .txt to .xlsx. The variables/parameters that can be changed are: Module Number of Teeth Face Width Pressure Angle Helical Angle To change a spur gear to a helical gear, change the Helical Angle from 0 to the desired angle (commonly used : 15, 20, or 25). How to change variables/parameters: Look in the FeatureManager Design Tree tab. Right-click on Equations -> Manage Equations.
