Standalone Glider Tow (Conceptual system) I took the Nida glider to demonstrate my system in GrabCAD by Antanas Sulskis – my many thanks https://grabcad.com/library/glider-lak-11-nida Project in evolution! It consists of two identical modules that are installed on the console of the glider wing near the center section. After working through several design options, 2 separate modules were selected. Some specifications Power plant EMRAX 188 electric motor, weight 6.8 kg Peak Power 70 kW Continuous power 28 kW 7000 RPM E-BAMO-D3 controller, weight 6.5 kg Battery element 3.6 V 1500 mAh 8C (12 A) Dimensions 76x40x6.5 mm weight 35 g Number of items 450 2.4 kWh 16 kg The estimated module weight is less than 40 kg. Estimated runtime 6 - 8 min Power mode is optimized for each flight. After the glider is brought to the route, the towing modules are reset and parachuted. Planning parachutes controlled by an autonomous on-board system (GPS orientation and laser altimeter). The program, taking into account the residual charge of the batteries, ensures a safe and as close as possible landing of the module to the launch site. There are three points for cushioning when landing: a front ski and two springs at the rear. Adapters remain on the wing of the glider. Individual adapters for each specific model of the glider are fixed on the wing without damaging the wing and ensure the normal operation of the flaps. Autodesk Inventor 2020 The parachute model is solid-state without claims to realism. Belka & Strelka (Белка & Стрелка) - the first dogs that returned from space flight alive (USSR, August 1960).
