This project is a standing laptop bookcase that I have made. It serves as a laptop working surface with a bench cover to hide your laptop, and shelves to store your books. The model is custom designed to my standing height and laptop dimensions (Thinkpad T520) but will dynamically update to values in the spreadsheet if you use Autodesk Inventor. After physically building this bookcase I found it to be a little top heavy. I think improvements could be made to the standing stability. Also attention should be paid to the hinging direction i.e. where the laptop cover will be when opened. P.S. I hope someone creative can find another use for the cover such as a mouse-tray or book holder.
