The SHERP Steering Clutch is a friction-based clutch-brake mechanism that enables skid-steering by controlling power distribution to each side of the vehicle. Instead of using a traditional steering wheel, the driver operates two hydraulic levers; pulling a lever disengages the clutch to cut power to the wheels on that side while applying a disc brake, causing the vehicle to pivot and turn sharply
