Stepped Housing Block with Internal Cutout | 3D CAD Design (Creo) · 模型 70144
Designed a stepped housing block with an internal cutout using PTC Creo, focusing on structural stability, functional geometry, and ease of manufacturing. The component features a solid base with a vertical stepped structure and a precisely defined internal cavity. This cavity is designed to accommodate mating components, allowing for proper fitment, alignment, and protection within an assembly. The stepped top profile enables controlled positioning and may serve as a guide or support interface in mechanical systems. The model was developed using parametric design principles, ensuring flexibility for modifications such as cavity size, wall thickness, and overall dimensions. Extrusion and cut operations were used to define both external and internal geometries, maintaining a clean and efficient feature tree. Sharp transitions were minimized, and the geometry was kept simple yet functional to ensure manufacturability through CNC machining or casting processes. The design balances material usage with structural strength, making it suitable for industrial applications such as housings, supports, or fixture components. This project demonstrates strong foundational skills in mechanical CAD modeling, with attention to precision, usability, and production-ready design.
