This is a straight bevel gear assembly I modeled to practice mechanical power transmission and kinematics. Bevel gears like these are fundamental in aerospace engineering, often used in aircraft accessory gearboxes and helicopter rotor transmissions to change the direction of shaft rotation. Beyond just the 3D modeling, I also set up a motion analysis on this assembly to verify the gear mating and rotational kinematics. Modeled in SolidWorks. Native files and a universal STEP file are included.
