Tool designed for increaseing the saety level of a inflatble canopy during hot climbing conditions, and also to obtain a extreme short landing performances. This was one of my first studies, succesfully tested in flight (those who believe in their ideas, must prove it, even if this entails risks). The teory tell that, by reduction the projected surface, we will increase the speed, both V (component along trajectory) and W (vertical component). The flight test was powerful, strange and good sensation, the profile was perfectly folded by air (lock the photo and detect how many years ago was the paraglider!), but the max. speed was not increased as my evaluation. To be true I've not evaluated that by tractioning the pulley, I'll changed the wing warpage. Currently I know a new way to increase the performance of this this investigation, avoiding also to increase the drag of the lines, unfortunately I've no enaught time to test. I'll registered a patent for it.
