SubD versus NURBS · 模型 242356
A experiment with SubD Geometry (Subdivision Surface Modelling). Fruit basket as a example (or nutcase ;). Left one is SubD and right is NURBS. Both models converted to step and stl files. The file size dependency doesn't differ that much when converting to step files. This is not the case with conversion to stl files. The subd conversion to stl file is 10 times smaller.
