The main consideration during the design process was to create a shape which is maximum close to the natural hand. This is one of the reasons to make the model solid - It need to be as near as possible to natural hand's weight. This way, the swimmer will achieve optimal and uniform load distribution to his muscles. This prosthetic is designed for Male-50-th percentile. (Height 1754,9mm; Weight: 78.45 kg.) It could be scaled to be appropriate for other percentiles. The uploaded 3D model is right hand, but it could become left hand with simple software operation like mirror copy.
