A small informative model showing how the sails on the SOH all have exactly the same outer curvature: That of a sphere with a radius of 246 ft / 75 m. This stroke of genius by architect Jørn Utzon enabled them to finalize the building using only one template when casting the hundreds of individual concrete parts. But it still ran over time and over budget. You can't have it all :-)
