A model of robotic tacticle sensor finger. The clear part sometimes is made of PC (polycarbonate) in which a microchip or circuit can be introduced; this circuit will include the sensor (or the circuit itself is one) which is of the tactile type. The holes in the finger are to allow the passage of a bimetallic alloy wire, that allow the robotic finger to contract or stretch. The finger model can be used in hand prothesis or robotic actuators.
