The Seat has a tubular metal frame split in two so that the width can be adjusted to different sized Kayaks. The Seat part could be made from a nylon/foam material with closed cell foam raised cushioned sections for comfort and contouring to the kayak body. The seat is fitted to the frame with wrap around edge velcro covered tabs securing themselves to the frame. The actual seat has velcro attached to the bottom which would mate with corresponding velcro patches on the inner bottom surface of the Kayak holding it in position. The seat has a tall backrest to support the Kayaker's back, allowing them to exert more paddling force, without becoming tired trying to keep an upright back.
