The object is a 3d rendering of a valvular conduit originally invented by Nicola Tesla patent US1329559, filed in 1916 and granted in 1920. It was designed primarily as a one way valve for pulsatile flow. The current model includes rods for stabilizing the baffles which would otherwise be floating inside the valve. As designed, it can be printed without interior supports.
