The Deadloader Tensile Tester - ASM Materials Challenge · 模型 24070
Me and my partner submitted the Deadloader as our entry to the 2021-2022 ASM Materials Challenge for High School Students. The tester is meant to measure the tensile strength in basic materials using a crank system and a load cell. We placed 2nd in the country for our rather crude design. We had a ton of fun with this project and I wanted to share some of the files on here for people to play around with. Feel free to leave a comment with any questions you may have about the design. And yes, we actually built the Deadloader and I have actually used it on a few occasions outside of the challenge.
