The Fedator design is an aesthetically pleasing yet effective solution to the ASME Drone Attachment Design Challenge. Made out of sturdy and high shock-resistant materials, the 3D printable parts can support a load of 48lbs. The design is cost-effective and eco-friendly because the container stays with the drone for many delivery missions and does not need to be transported back to base separately. The packages delivered would be completely safe protected from wind and rain from all sides and cushioned at the base of the container. Finally, the process of dropping a package using the Fedator mechanism is creative and practical, ensuring that the goal of safe delivery of the package is accomplished.
