This is an external "envelope" CAD model of the Torqeedo Travel series (1003/1103) electric outboard motor. It focuses on the accurate outer geometry and structural connection points, making it ideal for integration into larger assemblies without bogging down your software with internal electronics. I originally utilized this for an autonomous surface vessel (ASV) conversion (ArduRover/Pixhawk), so the geometry is optimized for designing custom steering actuators and mounts. Key Features Included: Main Shaft (Pylon): Accurate outer diameter for designing custom split-collars and slip rings. Steering Axis Centerline: Exact pivot points to calculate moment arms for steering servo linkages. Transom Bracket: Mounting clamps, friction collar, and tilt/trim clearance zones to prevent collisions with your hull. Lower Unit & Propeller: Hydrodynamic motor pod, skeg, and weedless prop envelope. Removable Upper Interface: The battery receptacle and tiller handle can be easily hidden/removed in your assembly to make room for custom autopilot hardware.
