The CAD model represents a torque damper assembly for the 2004–2009 Toyota Prius. This clutch assembly features a permanent pressure plate that continuously engages the clutch with the flywheel. Engine power is transferred to the eCVT through a planetary gearset. Because the hybrid powertrain includes electric motors, a separate clutch cover is not necessary for engaging or disengaging the power.
