TOY PLANE · 模型 52917
This project explores the conceptual and functional design of a wooden toy airplane, optimized for simplicity, visual appeal, and manufacturability. The model presents two design variants: a classic biplane and a modern monoplane, each crafted with different material and assembly approaches. 🔧 Engineering Design Highlights: 1. Modularity & Simplified Assembly Each plane consists of clearly defined components: fuselage, wings, landing gear, and tail. Joints are designed for ease of assembly, ideal for CNC or laser-cut processes. Interlocking geometry minimizes the need for adhesives or fasteners. 2. Material Consideration Fuselage: Cylindrical solid wood for structural stability and durability. Biplane Variant: Lightwood wings and landing gear to reduce visual and physical weight. Bi-level wings offer a nostalgic design while maintaining symmetry and balance. Monoplane Variant: Metallic-look planar wings and tail components provide a minimalist aesthetic. Contrast in texture emphasizes material separation for visual hierarchy. 3. Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Components are optimized for subtractive manufacturing (CNC routing, lathe turning). Simple planar surfaces are suitable for both wood and composite materials. Scalable dimensions allow for adaptation to various age groups or display sizes. 4. Ergonomics & Safety Rounded edges throughout the fuselage and wings enhance user safety, especially for children. Wing and tail placements avoid sharp overhangs or small detachable parts. 5. Aesthetic & Functional Balance The biplane offers a playful, educational visual cue that echoes early aviation history. The monoplane adopts a clean, modern silhouette suitable for contemporary toy lines or décor.
