I designed this for an experiment that was later cancelled. As a result, I have only moderately tested the desigh and I have not revisited it to make some improvements. If I did it again, I'd make a relief for the nut that secures the stepper motor to the frame. I'd also tighten up the clearance between the 608zz bearings and their bore holes. As it is, you should put a small bit of hot glue on the bearings when installing. The motor shaft is something else that you should hot glue, and you want to put the glue between the motor shaft tip and the worm gear shaft bore. Squeeze together before the glue dries. The winch spool is also something else that is glued together. I divided the spool into two pieces for better printing results. I put holes around the spool shaft / axle for future use. I had anticipated creating a fairlead to ensure the rope falls in the correct location on the spool, but never got around to it. I may revisit this in the future and revise everything, but I can make no promises.
