Problem: I accidently threw away the end cap of my TP-Link WIFI antenna. Solution: 3D print a new one! Had to work with super tight tolerances on this one, so that the cap would slide on and off easily (Transition Fit). It wasn't easy, considering the thermal expansion and contraction of the part due to the manufacturing method. Also added a small tab with a slot, so that the cap would be attachable, via a string, to the stick's tab. Final result: deviation of up to +/-0.05 [mm] in the critical dimensions. Had to file the the internals of the cap abit for a looser fit. Additionally, the bottom fillet came out spot on. Matches the stick perfectly! Overall - a very informative experience!
