Tree Chair - Nature Version and Modern Version · 模型 148186
This is the chair design for my Tree Table Dining Set. The chair features a spring-loaded gimbaled lumbar cushion that rotates slightly backward (to 30 degs) when the sitter leans back and returns when the sitter leans forward maintaining equal pressure on the lumbar region. I have conceived the set in two variations: Nature - mahogany frame and mahogany cushion bases with teak inlays, black anodized screws (where visible), and brown leather cushions and bracket covers. Modern - chrome frame, black lacquered wood cushion bases with Tahiti shell inlays, and black leather cushions. The STEP model presented here represents the Nature version (material thicknesses, mounting systems, etc.) The frame of the chair is in three pieces, left legs, right legs, and arch.
