UAV Fixed-Wing Concept Model (Student Experiment) · 模型 34171
This UAV fixed-wing model was created in SolidWorks. The airfoil used for the wing is NACA 4415. The aerodynamics of this model were analyzed using SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation. The results showed an average lift force of 1412.06 N (GG Force (Y) 1) and a drag force (GG Force (X) 2) of 363.714 N at a fluid velocity of 60 m/s in air. For it to fly, the lift force must be greater than the weight, so 1412.06 N / 9.81 = 143.9 kg. Thus, at 60 m/s, the UAV can support up to 143.9 kg under current simulation settings. However, the Actual required lift will depend on operating speed, angle of attack, and atmospheric conditions. The simulation result showed a drag force of 363.714 N, which is reasonable for a UAV of this scale. However, I may have made some mistakes when defining the flow conditions or in the model itself, as this is an experimental model, and I am not sure if it can really fly. I have added pictures of the flow simulation analysis in the files. Thank you so much for your time, and feel free to correct me if I’ve made any mistakes.
