This is the concept of 3D printable UFM(UltraFiltration Membrane) Water Purifier for a household. This water purifier consists of 8 Topologically optimised components i.e. Diffuser, Mesh Filter 1, Lower Housing (containing Activated Carbon Granules), Mesh Filter 2, UFM casing(with UFM), Main Housing, Nozzel. The material used in 3D printing all UFM parts is ABS PC (except - Activated Carbon Granules & UltraFiltration Membrane) UFM purification system Specification Length - 262 mm Width - 39 mm Inlet Diameter - 7mm Outlet Diameter - 7mm Flow Rate - 11L/min (without filtration) What Makes this purifier different from others? 1)This water purifier can be connected to any pipes and taps which makes this purifier very convenient to mount. 2)The Housing of the purifier which contains revolutionary Ultra Filtration(UF) Membrane purification technology used for the production of high-purity water. UF is the most effective in the removal of colloids, proteins, bacteria, pyrogens (e.g. gram-negative bacterial endotoxins), and other organic molecules larger than 0.1 - 0.2 Micron in size. 3)This water purifier contains an activated carbon filter which is very effective in removing at least 81 chemicals, effective in another 30 and moderately effective for 22. According to EPA (the Environmental Protection Agency in the United States), Activated Carbon is the only filter recommended to remove all 32 identified organic contaminants including THMs. The same is true for all 14 pesticides and 12 herbicides. Can be stored and used periodically. Just keep uncapped so it can dry thoroughly. Very durable
