Unfortunately I missed the hand in time for the ULA / Grabcad challenge, I put so many hours into this project as well... This was my first experience using the simulation on Solidworks and found it extremely insightful and have incorporated it into items of work since. So I did earn something out of this venture! It was also very interesting to have a glimpse into the aerospace field and see what technology and materials etc is been used. This model was planned to be 3D printing (I believe on the National Space Station) out of a material called 'Ultem 9085'. It had to support a weight of 600lbs whilst only weighing a maximum of 1lbs But I have no use for this anymore, enjoy and do what you will with it grabcadders. As always, STL and Gcode for 3D printing. Ultimate Quality - roughly 5, 7, 9hrs Solidworks 2014 Photoview 360 Cura 15.04.06
