UltraFlex Lunar Torch is a rover equipped with a lunar torch to reflect sunlight into the dark by using a mirror with the UltraFlex mechanism by Nasa. UltraFlex technology has been used on NASA's satellites and has proven successful in compressing both the size and weight of the solar panels to charge the satellites. based on the successful implementation of UltraFlex I tried to apply the UltraFlex design to the Lunar Torch. The implementation of UltraFlex on the Lunar Torch that I have done has several advantages, including the following : 1. Every side of the mirror is protected by the UltrFlex frame and body so safe from various impact during exploration and the shipping process 2. Big Body Big Space, the Rover's body size allows to create a luggage for storage without reducing the componets in the rover or can load bigger bateray on it 3. UltraFlex Lunar Torch Using 2 large mirrors with UltraFlex Mechanism by Nasa with total area of 22, 6708 Square Meter. With 2 Mirrors UltraFlex Lunar Torch can Iluminate 2 place at time or one place with wide range. 4. A Layer of fiberglass clotch between the frame and the mirror to reduce oberheating 5. UltraFlex Lunar Torch comes with a 120 cm X 67 cm solar panels as a backup charger Spesification : reflecting area : 22, 6708 Square Meter weight Prediction : 667.9 KG
