The main idea behind this paper towel holder design is that if we dispense tissues/papers right from a chopped-tree-trunk-like holder, we will always keep in our minds that each less paper/tissue that we use every day can lead to a great decrease in number of trees that are cut down each year. Also, this unique log-like holder, not only reflects one's love of nature, but also can fit into any decoration and interiors if just placed on wooden surface. As always, I tried to keep my idea simple as I do believe in “Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is the noble art of leaving things undone. The wisdom of life consists in the elimination of non-essentials.” Posters that I included with this project, shows the key features that my design holds. I add a small GoGreen just below the U in UMBRA logo to suggest a new theme for households produced by UMBRA: an environment-in-mind theme.
