A modern design inspired by the Umbra logo and Umbra's modern design spirit, captured by bridging a simple, sleek and slightly U-shaped design. The keys here were ease of use and aesthetics. The Ouva features a large intuitive push button across its top and a rotatable spout for convenience. The button is spring loaded on both ends to ensure a smooth push and release. To refill the Ouva, simply unscrew the button and pour soap into the opening. When closed, the button is locked in place by a thread stop. My vision of the Ouva is that it's base would be a glossy ceramic and the other components would be a rigid plastic with a soft touch coating. If desired, the base could also be made from a rigid plastic such as ABS with a high gloss finish. Each component is designed to be mold-able with very few undercuts.
