DESCRIPTION This is a 2-in-1 Type-C USB 5V 2A charge/discharge module with charging protection and a boost converter, typically used 18650 lithium batteries. I liken it to a 5V UPS configuration. I have reverse engineered the module dimensions using a vernier with measurement accuracies of better than +/- 1mm. I have included all but the smallest board components (the resistors). I’m sharing the CAD STEP file to assist people to incorporate the model into their own designs. If you're like me, it doesn't matter how much care you take, it's still possible to miss details in the 3D design. Typical missed details that will lead you into problems include: - Parts encroaching on others. - Hole spacings misaligned. A 3D model of each component incorporated into your design helps avoid some of the design pitfalls. My CAD design may match your needs, too. I hope you can find this design useful, too.
