Story USS Eidolon is dispatched on an exploration and diplomacy mission towards the Gamma Quadrant, following the cautious re-establishment of relations with the Dominion. However, early in the mission, new species are encountered—some of which pose a significant threat to the Federation due to their power and secrecy. Eidolon’s goal is not merely mapping and observation, but also representing Federation values, forging treaties, and bringing order to the unknown.
