This project presents the design and assembly of a Variable Inlet Vane Damper (VIVD) developed using Autodesk Fusion 360. The model consists of a casing, adjustable inlet vanes, central hub, linkage mechanism, and mounting components. The vane assembly is designed to regulate airflow by synchronizing the rotation of all guide vanes through a common actuation mechanism. Parametric modeling techniques were used to create individual components, followed by assembly and motion verification to ensure proper functionality. This project demonstrates CAD modeling, mechanical assembly design, parametric design, motion analysis, and airflow control concepts used in industrial fans, compressors, and HVAC systems.
