Parametric model to design Vee Packing (Chevron) Seals. This intended for machined PTFE or plastic seals and is not applicable to the design of moulded elastomer seals. This type of seal is typically used in equipment for the sub-sea Oil and Gas industry and will seal in excess of 10k psi when mounted in suitably designed hardware.
