I designed this flow sensor for use in a medical ventilator. The venturi flow sensor is assembled with two BME/BMP 280 pressure sensors. I have attached an Arduino file that uses the bernoulli equation to calculate the flowrate through a venturi. I fitted a thin neoprene gasket between the sensor cap and sensor holder. The fittings at each end are nominally 22mm tapered in accordance with ISO 5356 -1:2015. I used CAT 5 cable to connect to the sensors. The 4mm hole in the small diameter section of the venturi was reamed out with a 4mm drill to produce a smooth and accurate diameter.
