This is the AFRC (Air fuel ratio control unit) comprising of a FMCU (fuel metering control unit) and a SPCU (servo pressure control unit). This controls the servo pressure to the swash plate servo of the fuel pump thus regulating the fuel flow and pressure. It is in turn controlled by the BFCU (barometric flow control unit) which is controlled by the pilot and barometric pressure and engine speed.
