3D scan of an engine and transmission assembly from a 2004 VW Golf R32. Captured with a Shining3D Einstar scanner, .5mm feature size. Note that the one rear-facing motor mount shown in this scan is NOT part of the standard assembly. It's something I used for mockup purposes in determining how to fit this engine into an older VW.
