Inspired by water slides at amusement parks, this concept adds a self-watering feature to a support cage. A larger model (1 meter) that could be used to support and water tomato plants is also shown. The long shafts slowly deliver water directly to the roots, reducing water lost due to evaporation from watering the surface. The clear structure helps determine when to add more water. It would be interesting to see a regenerative version of this concept to show the full potential of 3D printing.
