Well, this project was carried out as a joint venture by me Soumitra Sitole and my friend Sanket Mane(https://grabcad.com/sanket-27). The thing is we wanted to delineate some theme around the model pertaining to engineers and designers. To start with, we thought of something magnificent like a monarch; so we portrayed things that make an engineer opulent. Here, the character Grabby the bot signifies a king adorned with the golden gear crown. The crown is basically an accretion of gears namely spur,helical,bevel and finally the worm. Grabby is holding a sceptre which manifests power and command which is done by the pencil for engineers. For the pedestal we have portrayed a mouse to show a chariot for the king's grandiose stand. It signifies the ability to commute as so; the engineers and designers use a mouse and a few clicks to commute from one file or part to another. SPECIFICATIONS AND PRICE ESTIMATE:- BY SCULPTEO 1) MATERIAL: PLASTIC (Monochromatic-White) DIMENSIONS(mm): 93 x 73 x 68 ESTIMATE: $ 97.72 2) MATERIAL: MULTICOLOR (Sandstone) DIMENSIONS(mm): 102 X 80 X 75 ESTIMATE: $ 98.07 UPDATE: The initial model with the railings has some weak cantours (pointed out in red, in the screenshots) if multicolor or sandstone material is selected with dim. 102 x 80 x 75. However, if plastic is selected as the material with dim. 93 x 73 x 68 the model is absolutely good for 3D printing acc. to the review with only a few yellow spots at some cantours. But in plastic you only do get a single colour. We do not wish to exclude or chuck off the idea of the railings as they really accrue on the elegance of the model. However to ease 3D printing and keeping the price restraint in mind we are adding an additional version of the model where in we have chucked off the railings and the rectangular pedestal and replaced it with a circular one...we again would like to point out here that the previous version with the railings had no issues with 3d printing if printed in plastic...But it would have been monochromatic. So to include the colours and suffice the 3D printing in MULTICOLOR we are uploading the second version named asm001 with specs: 3)MATERIAL: MULTICOLOR(Sandstone) DIMENSIONS(mm):85 x 88 x 85 ESTIMATE: $ 97.52 The above specified model does pretty much satisfy much of the solidity check analysis with only a few orange spots.
