The Wetropolis flood demonstrator is a conceptual, live installation showcasing what an extreme rainfall event is and how such an event can lead to extreme flooding of a city. Wetropolis is best experienced live but, second best, please watch the following movies (from 30-08-2016). This design has been replaced by the 2018 version with minor changes. In the 2018 design drainage of leeds location was altered and a slot in the channel bottom was created to enable tests with bottoms with different surface roughness
