Wilga Draco XL – RC Aircraft Inspired by Mike Patey’s Legendary Design · 模型 40969
This is my Wilga Draco XL RC aircraft, a scratch‑built project inspired by Mike Patey’s legendary Draco design. The model represents a full XL‑scale RC aircraft with complete airframe geometry, structural assemblies, and realistic bush‑plane proportions. Main dimensions: • Wingspan: 3400 mm • Fuselage length: 2300mm • Height: 800mm The assembly includes the full fuselage, wings, tail section, landing gear, suspension geometry, engine cowl, and all major structural components. Every part is modeled for functional RC performance using 3D‑printed elements, composite work, and reinforced structural design. This project is part of my ongoing Wilga Draco XL build series. Feedback and engineering discussion are welcome. All CAD geometry is fully scratch‑built from photos. No original Draco drawings, CAD files, or proprietary design data were used. This is an independent RC interpretation of Mike Patey’s legendary aircraft. Important note: This project is currently in development. The aircraft is not finished, and many parts of the model are still being refined. Dimensions, geometry, and individual components may change at any time as the build progresses.
