This mechanism is also known as Arandela Mechanism. It is a funny-looking mechanism but has a wide range of applications. It consists of a wobbling disc, connected to a pin. The pin and the disc are oriented at a certain angle. The angle is dependent on the type of application, it’s going to be used in. When the pin is rotated the disc also rotates angularly, along the axis, perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the pin. Its main application includes converting rotary motion into reciprocating motion.
