A Europoolpalette (colloquially: Euro pallet ) is a flat pallet ( FP ) made of wood from the exchange system of Europools . Typically (as below ) is the reusable transport pallet standardized according to EN 13698-1 with a base area of 0.96 square meters (0.4 loading meters ) and the dimensions 1200 mm × 800 mm × 144 mm (length × width × height) as well as a dead weight of 20 to 24 kg (depending on wood moisture) meant. It is held together by 78 to 81 special nails . Euro pallet is a so-called four-way pallet, d. H. It can be used from all four sides with an automatic material handling device , eg. B. with a forklift or a lift truck , recorded and transported.
