Adapters to add magnetic fittings to a 32mm vacuum cleaner pipe and corresponding tools (planer, track saw, etc). The magnetic fitting has an outer diameter of ~60mm and uses 8 magnets, with alternating polarities. Depending on the print quality, the magnets can simply be push-fitted in their slots. A dab of glue is recommended. Note that the fitting is designed so the magnets are not pulled out of the print when the fitting is engaged. The fittings have no male/female difference, to facilitate print. A 40mm pipe can be used to improve the seal. This can be cut from a standard plastic pipe. I have designed a fitting for a makita DKP181 planer. I have included a template for the magnetic part, so that more fittings can easily be implemented.
