In this project, a gearbox with a worm gear has been designed and manufactured for use in the motion transmission mechanism of a 6 DoF robotic arm. Some of the important components used include: A53U30 Framo-Morat Worm and Worm Gear AndyMark Redline 775 DC Motor Coupled with a planetary gearbox (95:1 Ratio) AMT-103 Encoder 6006-2RSR Ball Bearing 6661K18 Ball Bearing 6002-2RSR Ball Bearings Note that; keys -which is used to transfer the motion through the shaft and gears- are hidden in design.
