These air filter frames slide directly over the intake air vents on the Xbox One X. This is 100% designed for manufacturing on a 3d printer without using any support material, and prints easily on 1mm wide settings and .8mm nozzle. They fit air filter material between 4-7 mm thick. Personally I use a 5mm thick AC unit filter from FrostKing or Duck. The air filter material slides right into place, and since it's a little spongy it stays very well. Grooves were added into the interior of the frame, so that 3d printed covers could be inserted over the dust filter material for design purposes, and only if desired. The bottom of the frame has two circles that can are just the right size to fit rubber to add traction to the bottom of the xbox, so it does not slip off of an entertainment center, or the like. The bottom also has nice elevated corners that are much higher than the xbox's original design. This helps keep the console nice and cool. I measure the heat of the console from multiple points during long gaming sessions and found most of the console to be cooler when dust filters were installed, but only because of the elevation from the surface, that the frames provide.
