This is a simple concept of a screw on cap on a bowl. The natural porosity of the PLA is used to allow gases to be emitted through the top. The interior of the bowl has to be covered and rubbed in Methyl Acetane or other solvent at the start, this will make it impermeable. On the inside of the cap there is a flexible part to allow entry of liquid. There an O-ring normally ensures hermeticity. Another bigger O-Ring ensures hermeticity between the cap and the bowl. In Summary, the Yoghurt Mark I is printed, the inside of it is chemically "melted" to make it impermeable. 2 Orings are added. After usage, the bowl can be reused 5 times, and the desinfection process will improve its impermeability. The Orings are cleaned for reusage, the top is grinded for recycling. After 5 usages, so is the bowl.
