This is a custom-designed enclosure for the YoRadio ESP32-based internet radio, modeled in FreeCAD. Key Design Features and Dimensions: - Compact Build Volume: With a total width of 200 mm, it fits easily onto standard 3D printer beds such as the Creality K1C (220 mm by 220 mm build plate). - Dual-Orientation Placement: - Horizontal Mode (Classic Boombox Style): Stereo speakers positioned left and right. In standard YoRadio horizontal display mode, the screen is oriented vertically, leaving about 120 pixels of unused space (snow / static pattern) at the bottom, which adds a cool retro vibe. - Vertical Mode (Tower Style): By standing the enclosure upright with speakers stacked vertically, the 2.0 inch TFT display aligns horizontally. This allows you to utilize the full display screen without margins for a sleek tower aesthetic. Compatible Hardware: - Enclosure: Designed in FreeCAD (STEP and STL files provided) - Speakers: AUIN 3 inch 4 Ohm 10W full-range drivers (x2) - Display: 2.0 inch SPI TFT LCD Module (ST7789, GMT020) - Microcontroller: ESP32 board running YoRadio - Audio: I2S DAC / Class-D amplifier module - Control: Rotary encoder with push button (front-mounted) 3D Printing Recommendations: - Printer: Creality K1C (or any printer with at least 200 mm bed) - Material: PETG, PLA Plus, or ASA - Infill: 20 percent to 30 percent (Gyroid or Grid recommended) - Walls: 3 to 4 perimeters for better sound dampening Feel free to modify the CAD data to fit your own electronic components and drivers.
