3D-Printed Hand Exoskeleton · 模型 159222
This project features the design of a low-cost (2250 BDT), 3D-printed hand exoskeleton developed entirely in SolidWorks, focusing on CAD modeling, ergonomic mechanical design, and functional 3D-printable components. Created for stroke survivors in low-resource settings, the device is fully wearable, portable, and customizable to fit various hand sizes. It uses a simple rotary encoder-based control system, eliminating the need for complex biosensors while maintaining assistive and therapeutic functions. The mechanical structure was optimized through SolidWorks to support both daily use (assistive mode) and structured motor rehabilitation (therapeutic mode). A patient trial demonstrated notable improvements in finger range of motion and grip strength, showcasing its potential as an affordable, locally manufacturable neurorehabilitation solution.
